DESCRIPTION
The Kyoto takes its cue from the shoji screen and the andon lantern - the Japanese habit of never letting a bulb be seen, only felt. A finely pleated ivory cone sits over a fluted column base; the folds catch the light in narrow vertical lines and push a soft, even pool downward, so the room glows rather than glares. The base holds its colour by day and warms through at night. Kyoto in spirit, sculpted in India from plant-based PLA and hand-finished in small batches.
